Who we Are
With over four decades of experience, GCM, Inc. specializes in managing complex construction projects from start to finish. Our background spans a wide range of industries—entertainment, retail, hospitality, and corporate spaces—with a focus on high-end tenant improvements and technically demanding builds.
We’ve worked on everything from studio renovations and creative offices to flagship retail stores and restaurants. Our goal is simple: keep projects organized, stay proactive, communicate clearly, and deliver results the client can count on. We work closely with owners, architects, and contractors to make sure each project runs smoothly.
Meet the Owner
Steven “Griff” Griffin leads the company with more than 40 years of hands-on construction experience. He’s served as a project manager, superintendent, owner’s rep, and instructor. His technical knowledge and field experience make him the go-to for projects that are fast-paced, sensitive, or unusually complex.
Some highlights from his career include the rebuild of Disney’s Vitagraph Studios, CNN’s Larry King studio renovation, and creative spaces for AGBO Films and Gentleman Scholar. He also taught Construction Management Principles at College of the Canyons for five years, helping new professionals learn how to lead projects effectively.
He believes construction doesn’t need to be stressful or confusing—and he’s built his reputation on making the process more collaborative and predictable for everyone involved.
